Easter/Resurrection of the Lord                 Sunday, April 01, 2018, 9:30 AM

This service represents the festival or holiday that took place celebrating the resurrection of Jesus from the dead, described in the New Testament as having occurred on the third day of his burial after his crucifixion at Calvary. It is the culmination of the Passion of Jesus, preceded by Lent, a forty-day period of fasting, prayer, and penance.

The day will begin with:

Continental Breakfast                         8:00 AM in Fellowship Hall

Worship Service                                  9:30 AM in the Sanctuary

We are a Christian country fellowship striving to follow Jesus in our families, our community, and our world.
We will continue to care for one another and will keep in better touch with our members.
We will be respectful and open to what all our members and church friends have to say.
We will reach out in service to the Whitelaw community and will extend invitations to our neighbors to join us in worship and/or fellowship.
We will emphasize Christian, spiritual practices and values in our programs among our church families and our community.
We will be more aware of our world situation and more deliberate in supporting outreach efforts to provide hope and to share God’s love around the world.
